We are committed to ensuring you enjoy your stay & that you leave us wanting to return.

Hire Cost Per Week.

Weekly reservations are calculated on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Prices vary according to the time of year, please contact us for details.

We respectfully request guests arrive after 4pm and depart by 10am on the last day. These times can be negotiated by prior arrangement.

Price Includes gas, electricity and water. Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be provided at an additional cost if requested at time of booking. There is a coin operated electric meter which should be sufficiently full for the duration of your stay, however it is advisable to keep a couple of £1 coins available if required. Please top up with a £1 coin prior to departure, this allows us to keep the fridge and freezer available for our next guests.

Hire Cost Weekend and Short Stays.

Costs are calculated based upon the number of people staying per night. There is a minimum £50 per night charge, and a minimum stay of two nights. Please contact us for details.

Damage & Good Housekeeping Bond.

Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible & liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. In the event of an accident, please inform us of the circumstances as soon as possible.

A ‘Damage & Good Housekeeping Bond” of £100 is required which should be sent along with the booking balance and as a separate cheque. This will be destroyed after Woodside Lodge has been vacated, cleaned and the inventory checked. Please note that if there is extra cleaning required as a result of your occupation, or from that caused by any pet, or due to smoking within the building, retention of an appropriate amount, (at the sole decision of the owner), will be made to cover extra cleaning costs and time.

Number Of People Staying.

Woodside Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to eight people and it is incumbent on you the hirer not to exceed the number quoted on the booking form.

Children Under 2 years.

Woodside Lodge is a child friendly environment. Guests with children under 2 years are welcome to make use of the travel cots, high chair and changing mat.

Pets.

Family dogs are permitted at Elmrise Park and inside Woodside Lodge. However we respectfully request owners to be vigilant and remove fur and saliva from the floor and furnishings prior to vacating. Please prevent dogs from climbing, sitting or sleeping on beds or other soft furnishings. There is a small additional charge of £5 per animal.

Reservations.

When a booking is made you must pay the applicable non refundable booking deposit as part- payment towards the cost of your stay. The reservation shall remain provisional until this payment is received.

Your “Balance-of Hire-Money” is due at least 2 weeks before your reservation start date. For bookings made within 2 weeks of the start date, we request immediate full payment, including the good housekeeping / damage deposit cheque.

Payments will be made in UK Sterling by bank transfer, cash or cheque. Details will be provided on receipt of application.

We reserve the right to pass on to you any bank charges and other costs we incur if payment is made in foreign currency, by Euro cheque, or any other method not normally accepted by us, or if we have to re-present a cheque or process late payments.

Keys And Site Access.

This will be notified to you after full payment, booking form and ‘Damage & Good Housekeeping Bond” have been received.

Cancellation By You.

Please contact us immediately and in writing (email is acceptable), if you need to cancel your reservation. Your cancellation is effective from the date we receive your notification.

If you cancel, you may still liable for the payment of your balance-of hire money. We will endeavour to re-let your reservation. If we are able to do so before you pay your balance-of hire money, you will only lose your booking deposit, if you have paid it. If we are able to re-let after you have paid your balance-of hire money, we will refund the whole or part of that money (so that you only lose your booking deposit, if you have paid it).

Cancellation By Us.

We reserve the right to refuse to hand over accommodation to any person(s) who, in our reasonable opinion, is not suitable to take charge of it. In such cases, all hire charges paid will be refunded in full, the contract shall be terminated and we will not have any further liability.

If in our reasonable opinion, any person(s) is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property, or danger, or significant annoyance to others, the Contract may be terminated, in which case we will not have any further liability. In this event, you will remain liable to pay the hire price and no refund shall be due.

Rob and Kate do not accept liability for any damage, expense, injury, death or loss of any nature whatsoever suffered by any person(s) from any cause whatsoever other than, in the case of the owner’s proven negligence of him/herself.

Vehicles.

There is ample parking space at the front of the Woodside Lodge. Please park cars in the designated areas. Please also note that your vehicles and their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk. Elmrise Park and Rob and Kate will not be responsible for any loss or damage from, or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever.

Smoking.

For the comfort of guests, our Woodside Lodge is a non-smoking establishment. The rear patio area is available for guests to use if necessary.

Guests who ignore this policy will be charged the cost of an additional night’s accommodation to allow the room to air.
